IMPORTANT INFORMATION
There will be no shuttles over the Easter long weekend.
This ticket is for a weekend shuttle session only.
Catching the shuttle is a convenient option which not only benefits you as the rider, but also the resort, as a portion of the shuttle fees go directly back into maintaining and creating new features along the trail.
Pick up is from Marysville (Peppers rear carpark) in a minibus with a Shingleback bike trailer, taking you along the 30-minute journey to the resort, dropping you at the Cascades trail head.
About Cascades
Cascades trail is classed as a blue standard trail, with several black features, suitable for intermediate to advance mountain bike riders, with previous experience riding similar terrain. The trail is 28km long, with over 500m of climbing... so not all downhill unfortunately! Depending on a rider's skill level, it can take up to 3-5 hours to complete the single-track trail in full, possibly quicker for those on e-bikes or who have ridden the trail before.
Due to the length, remoteness and terrain, we highly suggest packing spare tubes, a repair kit, plenty of water, some snacks and also additional clothing layers as the weather can change quickly up here in the alpine environment.
